Jamison grew out of the Irish-American streets of Northeast Philadelphia in 2003. Since then, Jamison has grown to offer one of the most high energy shows on the east coast, with dynamic reels mixed with rock, reggae, modern pop, hiphop dance beats and more – all while never straying far from their Irish roots. Fans are sure to leave a show with a sweaty shirt and an excitement that few live shows can produce.
Jamison has appeared on Fox Good Day Philadelphia’s promotion of the 2005 Penn’s Landing Irish Festival, was the Headline band for the Phoenixville Concert Series, Philadelphia Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, Cape May County Irish Fall Festival (Wildwood NJ), the Delmarva Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration, and Philadelphia’s Running of the Santa’s just to name a few.
Jamison has had songs featured on Midwest Radio in Ireland, was awarded “Best Band” in 2009 by the Mt Holly St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and more recently, won ‘Best Irish Band in America’ in the Strangford Lough battle of the bands. To celebrate, the band will be flown to Las Vegas to perform at McFadden’s.
Locally, you can find Jamison playing venues including The Electric Factory, Citizens Bank Park, and festivals, clubs and pubs all over the tri state area.
What the Press are saying about Jamison:
“Jamison is the band to watch for…. “…One of the Hottest Irish Bands on the East Coast…” Out on the Town Entertainment Guide
Once Jamison Starts playing, the crowds start jumping” Bob Kelly
