The members of Jamison hail from Philadelphia and the Delaware area. The band features a straight rock beat blended with traditional Irish dance music to form a unique sound that is guaranteed to keep the crowd dancing. The band has taken many forms in its six-year existence. The band originally formed as Joe Driscoll and One Road in 2003. Donegal Jevy, Sarah Post, and Darrin Krug originally with Drowsy Maggie and Jiggery Pokery, joined One Road at the end of 2003. To add a more rock sound and touch to the band, Dave Lynd, Bass player and former member of popular bands American Dream and Mace was added to the fold, and the band was renamed Jamison. In 2004, John O’Callaghan, former front-man of Shades of Green and Common Ground, replaced Jevy as Lead Singer/Front-Man for Jamison. In 2006, Frank Daly formerly from the bands Spirit of ‘16 and Con, teamed up with Jamison.  In 2007, Sean Callaghan, also from Con, assumed the drummer position for Jamison.  In 2009 C.J. Mills (Love Seed Mama Jump, Common Ground, & Killen Thyme) took over the reigns as Jamison’s fiddle player.  Jamison had made many strides in the Philadelphia area Irish/Rock scene. Jamison has appeared: – Fox Good Day Philadelphia’s promotion of the 2005 Penn’s Landing Irish Festival, was the Headline band for the Phoenixville Concert Series in the summer of 2005, Philadelphia Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, Cape May County Irish Fall Festival (Wildwood NJ), and the Del Marva Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration, just to name a few. In 2006, the band recorded their first live CD, “Live at the Arsenal Theater” and in the Summer of 2007 released two original songs Rebel Heart and Mayo Rain, which debuted on Midwest Radio in Ireland in July 2007.  In 2009 Jamison was awarded “Best Band” in the Mt. Holly St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  With this repertoire and over the top energy, Jamison has become one of the premier Celtic Rock bands on the East Coast Irish music scene.
